About

One engineer.
A lot of agents.

Maas AI Labs is what happens when a decade of enterprise engineering meets an obsession with automation.

Matt Maas — Founder & AI Engineer at Maas AI Labs

Matt Maas spent 10+ years building the systems that large enterprises depend on — electronic health records at Epic Systems, desktop automation software at HelpSystems, financial infrastructure at Fiserv, connected vehicle platforms at Garmin, and telecom billing systems at CSG.

The pattern was always the same: brilliant people spending their days on work that machines should be doing. Manual reporting. Repetitive customer interactions. Operations held together by spreadsheets and good intentions.

Maas AI Labs exists to fix that — starting with the businesses too small to have a CTO but too ambitious to stay manual.

Based in Omaha, Nebraska. Built with the engineering discipline of enterprise software and the speed of a company with nothing to lose.

Why Omaha?

Lower overhead. No Silicon Valley echo chamber. Close to the businesses we actually serve. And a founder who'd rather ship products than attend demo days.

How We're Built

Infrastructure you can trust.

Dedicated Compute

On-premise AI infrastructure for low-latency inference and full data control. Not shared cloud instances — your data stays yours.

Open Source Core

Built on battle-tested open source foundations with custom layers for reliability, scale, and production readiness.

Production Obsessed

Every system ships with monitoring, alerting, automatic error recovery, and documentation. No prototypes in production.

Where this is going.

The end state is simple: businesses that run themselves. Not partially automated. Not “AI-assisted.” Actually autonomous.

We're not there yet. Nobody is. But every product we ship, every workflow we build, every agent we deploy gets closer. Follow the journey.
